Advocacy Meetings & Plans

ADVOCACY EVENTS AND INVOLVEMENT:

Advocacy's February 2016 meeting will be held at St Paul's 3-5 Humffray Street, Bakery Hill, Ballarat nextMonday night, 29 January, at 7.3opm. Items for discussion will include our forthcoming walk in the Nerrina Wetlands and a trip to Lake Condah. The Lake Condah trip has been on the collective mind of Advocacy since Ted Lovett spoke at St Paul's earlier in 2015. See here for more details about that visit. The Nerrina Wetlands walk is part of our goal to encourage people to be conscious of their environment and, in particular, the water components of our ecology.

Advocacy has produced a calendar for the first six months of the year which will be a basic reference for our planning. The calendar includes feast days for 2016, International days on a wide range of topics, Interfaith events, and more. If you would like us to provide you with a copy of this calendar please be in touch with us: advocacyballarat@gmail.com or phone on 0477 477 658 And we look forward to welcoming you to Advocacy on Monday night.

Advocacy @ St Paul's meets on the last Monday of every month (except December) at 7.30pm. We meet in the Vestry Room at the rear of St Paul's. Please enter via St Paul's Way. The church car park is at the rear of the church off St Paul's Way.

Advocacy welcomes people who are interested in social and environment justice. You don't have to be a parishioner of St Paul's... or even an Anglican! Please join us for Advocacy with a touch of faith. If you would like to join us but can't make meetings, that's OK. Please join up and provide us with your email address. A lot of stuff gets discussed between meetings - so we can make sure you don't miss anything. So please let us know of your interest in Advocacy. We would love to hear from you.
