The ruling handed down in the ERD court has changed everything,
a fundraising or market stall is now considered a SHOP,
a group of stalls, is now a SHOPPING CENTRE.
In brief, a stall, fete, market until this finding was never considered a shop/shopping centre,
so was acceptable practice in Australia as it should be.
Now they are considered unacceptable, non complying.
While most event and market managers try to get their heads around this issue,
Farm Direct Community Markets in South Australia
is going to appeal the decision in the Full bench of the Supreme court.
An appeal must be lodged by the 11th of February,
so we can't wait for other event organizers to arrange meetings and lease with Lawyers,
and I am sure the people of Australia will want urgent action.
https://www.facebook.com/stevenmclarklawyer/ Local lawyers
are willing to act for the Australian public, and a top development QC is also willing to act,
support across the board is increasing, but time is not on our side.
Help us step up to the plate and fight this legal precedent
before it is used against a market or event near you,
all money will be accounted for and once we have had a win for common-sense,
any remaining money will go to those that lost their homes in the recent fires.
Please share and start demanding our politicians also step in and protect our local events.
We need more markets and community events,
A go fund me account is up and running and receiving support,
please consider helping us ensure Australia does not lose community events.

WHY SHOULD AUSTRALIA LOSE MARKETS, EVENTS, FETES AND FESTIVALS?
These are photos from Markets and events from all over Australia.
Markets and Community events are held in every country, in Australia, the public love them as well,
and as a result they have been growing in size and support in most states.
A recent court finding has the ability to undermine Australian events and Markets,
a case brought by competition, who believe they will do better if Markets no longer exist.
