Gardeners Flora for Fauna: Information Session
Yarrowee River Trail - White Flat Oval (Hickman Street, Ballarat)
9:30 – 10:00 am

Learn how to plant for native birds, build a frog pond and use native plants in your garden.
Learn about the ‘Breathing Life Back into the Yarrowee’ project
A bike is not necessary for this part of the day. Participants who do not wish to take part in the survey can depart at the end of this session.

Yarrowee River Trail – Cycling Bird Survey
10:00 am  – 12:30 approx
We will leave from White Flat Oval by push bike and ride the southern section of the Yarrowee River trail to Docwra St, Magpie (approx 8km).
We will conduct a bird survey along the way and learn about the Yarrowee River project.
This is a semi-guided tour. Instructions will be provided on the day.
No experience necessary.  Please bring your own bike, water and sunscreen.
If you own binoculars or a bird field guide, bring them along.
